HydroMentia’s experience with Algal Turf Scrubber® and Water Hyacinth Scrubber systems includes system harvesting, biomass management, performance evaluation, and operational troubleshooting. Effective harvesting and routine system oversight are critical to maintaining active plant or algal growth, sustaining treatment performance, and recovering accumulated biomass from the treatment process.
Although HydroMentia does not currently provide full-time facility operations services, the company can support owners, engineers, and operators through consulting services related to system startup, harvest strategy, biomass handling, performance review, and long-term operational optimization.
Properly designed managed aquatic plant systems can be operated with streamlined maintenance procedures, periodic site inspections, and performance monitoring. Where appropriate, remote data review and operator coordination can help reduce the need for continuous on-site staffing while supporting reliable long-term treatment performance.
